Can MC logo debit card be used for key to world? If so, do they place a card hold for a certain dollar amount? We do not have any credit cards but want to use key to the world instead of carrying cash.

You can leave a debit card for room charges linked to a Key to the World card. When you're checking into your hotel, just tell the front desk what you'd like to do and they will have no problem arranging this for you. They will put a hold on you debit card, but you can decide how much. For example, if you would like $500 to be available for Key charges, then that's the level they will hold at. You could set this amount at whatever number you'd like. If you try to make a charge over that amount, it will be blocked at the register and you will have to call the resort if you'd like to increase your charge limit. This is a great way to keep a lid on your spending.
