This maybe a silly question but wasn't 50's Prime Time Café use to be by Tower of Terror on that end of Hollywood Studios? Also didn't it use to have Jukebox inside not T.V. and they served burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, ect.. when did they switc

    Hi Jennifer,

I just spent a long time studying park maps from 1989, the year Disney's Hollywood Studios (then Disney MGM Studios) opened. The 50s Prime Time Cafe was in the same location as it is now and both the description and the photos indicate that the themeing included TVs. (Which makes sense, since the "Prime Time" name refers to the Prime Time television hours.) The quick service stands near Tower of Terror do offer burgers/fries/etc. Perhaps that's what you're thinking of?

If you'd like to get a blast from the past, you can find the map I was looking at here (copy and paste into your browser): http://www.wdwmagic.com/other/maps/gallery/01jul1989-disney-mgm-studios-guide-book-1989/5084.htm  Even though 1989 is not all that long ago, the graphics already look so old-fashioned. What a hoot!

Please let us know what else you need. We're happy to help.
