In May we will visit Disney with our 9-month-old son. Is there anything special to consider because he is so young? For instance, can he ride most of the rides designed for children at Magic Kingdom if accompanied, or are we venturing to Disney too soon?

No! It's never too soon for Disney!  I have taken my daughters as newborns and still had a great vacation, and I know you will with your little one as well.

Your son will be able to ride the vast majority of things at the Magic Kingdom (and the other theme parks, too, for that matter).  You can check here for height restrictions on each ride.

Another resource that I love is the website  On that site, search 'height restrictions' and the first search result is a detailed breakdown of the rides in each park that might not work for your son.

    Have a magical vacation!
