May I have some suggestions for photo locations for a very large party (60)?Preference is using a resort with a nice backdrop or backyard. Please and thank you.

    Hi there, Cecilia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m glad you stopped by with your question!

A photoshoot with 60 of your closest friends sounds like the most exciting way to spend an afternoon (because lighting is everything!) at Walt Disney World Resort! I think it's brilliant that you would like your setting to be at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, because there are some gorgeous properties that will make your magical memories picture perfect!

Personally, my favorite location in the entire world is Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. If you go towards the outdoor area near Gasparilla Island Grill, you will find a beautiful garden, along with the most breathtaking views of the Resort behind you. The Victorian-style white buildings with the red roof architecture makes for a stark contrast along with the blue Florida sky and is truly something to marvel at! You can also ask a Cast Member if the convention center there is being used, because when no one else is there, it's spacious and absolutely stunning!

While you’re there, you and your party can walk, take the Resort Monorail, or hop on a boat over to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort where the lush tropical oasis meets a gorgeous sandy beach area in front of Seven Seas Lagoon. The white-sand beach is vast and able to fit a group of 60, easily. My boys have played there many times and I’ve been able to take some charming pictures of them!

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside has gorgeous grounds! There are beautiful pathways and gardens with benches. I love the massive bridge that leads from the Resort lobby to the buildings of the rooms! The Sassagoula River and white-column mansions make for some of the most loveliest backdrops. Once you’re through taking pictures, you can go next-door to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and enjoy some delicious Mickey shaped beignets!

Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort has an awesome football field with giant helmets! The bright colors and fun theming would be perfect for you and your team to take pictures at!

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is another bright and colorful Resort hotel with a ton of character. You will find many spots here outside filled with fun photo opportunities with some of your favorite Disney movies such as, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Cars. It is an absolute delight and is sure to draw your entire crowd in!

Cecilia, you’re “shutter” to “capture” the most magical memories at any of these magical Resort hotels!
