This may be silly...we orig. req. 9000 (Dlx FOV) & just found out we're upgrd to 8544 (Dlx OV w/Vrndh). We're kind of going to miss wndw seat & round tub and I'm concerned that connecting rooms are noisier & feel "less private". Any

    Hi Connie!
I completely understand your mixed emotions about your upgrade.  Many Guests cruise on Disney for years and never receive a pixie dusted upgrade so consider your family very lucky!  Although the window seat and round tub do sound appealing, you are going to LOVE having a verandah!  Being able to sit outside enjoying your morning joe and feeling the ocean breeze through your hair is well-worth your upgrade! When the Captain pulls into Castaway Cay, you are going to be so thankful for your amazing island views from your verandah!
My family always enjoys staying on Deck Eight, and the location by the stairs and elevator is so convenient. I wouldn't be concerned with the noise from this area because the room is far enough away that it won't carry into your room.  We have stayed in connecting rooms before and never felt they were noisier or any less private.
I hope my answer helps with your concerns, Connie.  The Fantasy is such a spectacular vessel, and I know you are going to have the most fantabulous time on your sailing.  Thanks again for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question.
    Have a magical day!
