Hi Moms! This may seem like a trivial question but I can't help but ask! We are staying in a WDW resort this year and I was wondering if the Key to the World cards were decorated like the regular park tickets with disney characters? Love those! Thanks!

I love this question, and it's not trivial at all.

Unfortunately the Key to World cards do not have Disney characters on them. They are just boring cards in either light blue or gold, with no decoration other than a basic Disney logo. The front of the card has your name and some hotel information on it. The back has a magnetic strip which is encoded with your room key and possibly dining credits, park tickets, or charging privileges, if you have added these items.

I do have a collection of old Key to the World cards as souvenirs. I like them because they list the dates of my travels to WDW, but how much more fun would they be if they showed Mickey and the gang. I am definitely going to pass along this idea to my cast member friends.
