I have what may seem like a strange ? What kind of door knobs are on the doors at POFQ? I have a VERY active tot and wanted to bring along a door knob cover so we don't have an escape, with it being so close to the river I just want to be safe! Thanks!

I love how safety conscious you are!

i can't really describe the door handles at Port Orleans French Quarter, but I can find you a photo of them. Go to the fabulous independent website Allears.net. Search there for an article called "Port Orleans French Quarter Fact Sheet." At the top of the fact sheet you'll see a link that says "Photo Gallery." Click there and scroll down until you get to "Building I, Third Floor, River View." Click on the photo called "Sitting area facing entrance." In this photo, you'll see an image of the door showing the handle.

As an easier alternative to a cover, I might suggest just habitually locking the safety latch (located above the door handle) every time you enter the room. Most toddlers would not be tall enough to reach the latch to undo it and escape the room.

Good luck with your planning and have a wonderful WDW vacation.
