This may seem like a silly question but is MGM and Hollywood studios the same place? I saw on another site that MGM has a Singing in the Rain umbrella and my 3 yr old LOVES that movie but I was only planning on going to Hollywood Studios and MK..

Hi Nyree and remember there are no silly questions here at the Mom's Panel.  DHS was formerly known as MGM Studios.  It is actually one of our very favorite parks.
Now with regards to the Singing in the Rain umbrella.  What I think you are referring to is the Great Movie Ride attraction.  This is an attraction that looks at the many eras of movies and yes there is a part that includes Gene Kelly from Singing in the Rain.  So if your three year old loves that movie he will enjoy this part of the attraction.  But do know there is one part of the ride that goes through the movie Alien and he might want to cover his eyes until that is over.  It can be a bit scary.
Thank again for the great question and for coming to the Mom's Panel.  I hope you have a wonderful WDW vacation.
