It may be an odd question but what are the chances of finding the Mad Hatter at the Mad Hatter Tea Party Ride in the Magic Kingdom? Are there times when we would have a better shot than others?

The Mad Hatter is ocassionally found greeting guests near the Teacup ride in the Magic Kingdom. However, this is a random "surprise" type of meet-and-greet and not a regularly scheduled happening. If you want to be absolutely sure to meet the Mad Hatter, your best bet is to book a character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian. Both Alice and the Mad Hatter are there every morning. Reservations are STRONGLY suggested. You can make reservations on the WDW website or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

If you want to double-check about the Mad Hatter's appearance elsewhere at WDW, you should go to the Guest Relations office at any of the theme parks; these are noted on the park maps. Ask them to call the "character hotline" for you. The character hotline will be able to tell you if and where any specific character will be in the parks on a particular day.

    Good luck!
