    We may be making a last minute, spur of the moment trip to Disney World in September. Would it be possible to make hotel reservations at a value resort just a few weeks before our trip? Do you think they will book up quickly in september?

    Hi Jessie,

    September is one of the slower months at the Walt Disney World Resorts. Most of the schools are back in session so this makes the crowds lighter. It is means there can be good deals to be found as well.

    At any given time, it is hard to say which resorts will sell out first. Sometimes the less expensive resorts are last to be booked during the slow periods because guests may upgrade resorts due to a special.

    You can always call Disney and ask them about availability. You might be able to book now and then cancel later without penalty.
