Hi Kathy!
I'm thrilled that you brought your question to
planDisney! Between the sun, walking, and being active all day, it's so important to stay hydrated at
The Walt Disney World Theme Parks. I like to bring my own water bottle to the parks as well because it is helpful to have water on hand at all times. The
Quick Service Dining locations will even provide free ice water that you can use to fill up your bottle.
You can bring a gallon of water into the parks, just make sure to keep an eye on the size of the container. Per the
Disney guidelines, there are certain prohibited items and specifications on sizes. For example, no coolers larger than 4" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not allowed in any theme park or water park. You also cannot bring in loose or dry ice. However, if you use a refillable gallon sized water bottle, you should be fine to bring it in.
I see that you are visiting in July, so make sure to visit
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. This park can help you cool off after a long day. The Happy Landings Ice Cream is incredible. My favorite thing to get is the root beer float. You will also not want to miss the
Disney H2O Glow After Hours at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. This fun event will have a glow party with special treats, entertainment, and snacks!
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
