Hello friend!
Welcome to planDisney! As I sit here wrapped in many blankets, I am growing more and more envious of the fact that Walt Disney World Resort is open and warm. My friend, you are making the right choice to visit this week and I wish I could join you.
You say that you have a "forever" ticket which I am assuming are the tickets sold many years ago without expiration dates. They were great because if you used them partially, the leftover dates were still valid! However, these are no longer sold and are not "date-based tickets." Only date-based tickets can enter the Parks without a
theme park reservation. Date-based tickets are the ones that have been sold more recently that have a date range associated with them. Every other kind of ticket, including the kind that you have will need to have a theme park reservation. If you can link the ticket or see the ticket in your My Disney Experience Account, you can go ahead and make that reservation right away. However, if you do not see it in your account you will have to reach out via a
phone call to speak with some Cast Members about getting your ticket set up properly. As your arrival is any day now I went ahead to see what the theme park availability is looking like and right now that at this time, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom Park do not have
reservation availability for April 4, 2024. As a solution, if your ticket has the
Park Hopper Option you may be able to hop to any other park once you first check into the Park you made the theme park reservation for. This way you can experience every Park! Consider upgrading your ticket if you want a bit more flexibility.
I hope this helps and you make it to where you want to go! There are magical moments to be made!
Happy Planning!
