Hi Leilani,
Great to see you here at planDisney! Thanks for peddling by with a great question about a unique way to get around the
Walt Disney World Resort.
I confirmed that
electric bikes are not allowed on property at the Walt Disney World Resort. Unfortunately, they are not permitted on bike trails, roadways, or sidewalks anywhere throughout the resort. This policy is in place for your safety, and the safety of other Guests throughout the sprawling property.
If you want to experience a leisurely ride around on two wheels, you can
rent a traditional bicycle at any of several resorts offering this service. Every rental comes with helmets and child seats, and there are even training wheels available if needed for your family’s comfort. You can explore the property where you rented the bike at your own pace while you stop and take in all the Disney details along the beautiful resort views.
You can also
rent surrey bikes for a fun family event! My panel pals
Mandy D. and
Amy C. each did this recently, and shared fun videos full of laughs with their family. Coordinating the motion together and surprise inclines in the heat make for a great challenge and core memories while taking in the sights around property in a whole new way.
I’m sorry if this isn’t the news you were hoping for, but please know that the
complimentary transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort offers many fun, safe, and efficient ways to navigate your way from one activity to the next. The
boats are my favorite, closely followed by the
Disney Skyliner! A
Disney bus can take you just about anywhere, and the
Disney Monorail is sure to put a smile on your face as you circle the gorgeous Seven Seas Lagoon.
Please let us know what other questions you have about your next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, we’d love to help!
Wishing you a practically perfect stay,
Amy
