May drive instead of fly. If so, will need room-only resv night before pkg starts for 5 (3 adults,2 kids). 1 Rm @ Mod is cheaper than 2 rms or 1 ste at Value. POR or CBR? Both offer rooms for 5, same price. Kids are 8 & 11. Opinions? Food, comfort? Thn

    Hi Lynn!

Congratulations on your Walt Disney World vacation! I have personally stayed at both Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Although both resorts offer unique theming and fun recreational activities, I prefer the dining options and quiet charm of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. If you are planning to visit Downtown Disney during your trip, you will also enjoy the added benefit of being able to travel there via the Sassagoula River Cruise. At this resort, you can look forward to old-fashioned cane pole fishing, horse-drawn carriage rides and six pools to choose from. Follow the links provided to learn more about Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort

I honestly think your children would be happy at either of these moderate resorts. That said, you can't beat the Southern hospitality, relaxing atmosphere, and beautiful landscaping found at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside. I hope this information helps in making your decision. Please don't hesitate to visit us again if you have any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Lynn!

    Happy planning,
    Jodie
