We may be going to Disney World in the next three weeks and have not booked our stay. Should we not include a dining plan since we do not have reservations? Would we have many dining plan options without reservations?

    Hi Robert!

How awesome that you can plan an impromptu trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth!  As you are looking into booking last minute, table service meals may be difficult to come by.  However, have no fear, as there are a number of restaurants that offer availability.  For example, on June 24th, there are 20 restaurants with availability, such as Raglan Road, Rainforest Café, 1900 Park Fare, Mama Melrose and 1900 Park Fare.  You can definitely book now and add your dining plan to your reservation.

If you are seeking same day dining options, there are some restaurants that will offer availability, however you may experience longer wait times, and for more popular restaurants such as Be Our Guest or Sci Fi Dine In, there will be no walk up reservations available.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
