I may be being dense and this may be a really simple answer that I should now but...is my 11 year old daughter classed as an adult or a child on the dining plan? If she is classed as an adult can she still order from child menu if she wants?

Claire, trust me when I say this is a brilliant question, and much discussion has been had around the subject. Your daughter will indeed be classified as an "adult", and has been in Disney's eyes since she hit the double digits of 10, something my now 14 year old always loved! If she's struggling to find something off the adult menu that appeals to her, no worries. She can order off the kids menu. They'll often make larger portions for the tween and teen 'adults'. And don't be shy to ask for substitutions - if something sort of appeals to her, it's a great chance for her to try new foods. We found getting sauces on the side, substituting sides or making other changes often worked!

Happy dining Claire! Write back with any other questions!
