Welcome aboard, Alyson!
Your Disney Cruise is just a few days away! I’m so excited for you! What I like best about cruising is that each day is a new adventure, but I only have to unpack once. So, let’s not delay and get your suitcases ready for adventure.
Unlike airlines, Disney Cruise Line doesn’t have a luggage weight limit. According to the
Cruise Contract, each Guest may bring a reasonable amount of clothing aboard the ship, not to exceed two bags per person. So, feel free to pack daywear, nightwear, and even some pirate gear. Keep in mind that all your luggage must be stored in your stateroom. I usually slide our suitcases under the bed.
You’ll want to pack any essential items in your carry-on luggage, like your travel documents and necessary medication. Your carry-on bags must not exceed 22 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. It needs to be small enough to fit through the security scanner. Staterooms are typically ready by 1:30 p.m., but your luggage may take a few more hours to arrive.
I hope you PACK in as much fun as possible on your four-night sailing to Spain. The Disney Dream has some of the best nighttime shows, with
“Beauty and the Beast” topping the list as one of my favorites across the Disney fleet. You’ll find showtimes and the Daily Activity Schedule on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. The app is like having your own personal Cruise Director in the palm of your hand.
I hope you are feeling shipshape and ready to make memories to last a lifetime! Have fun
packing those suitcases!
SEAS the adventure!
