Hey, Dana!
Dinner and a show, anyone? Congrats on getting reservations for
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. This classic restaurant hasn't changed much since 1974. As Cogsworth says, “If it’s not Baroque, don’t fix it.” In between hilarious skits and songs, you can feast on all-you-care-to-enjoy fried chicken and smoked BBQ ribs. And in the words of Abuela from Encanto, "The Magic is strong and so are the drinks!" The adults in your party will be able to enjoy unlimited draft beer, wine, and sangria. Oh, boy! You're going to have a zip-a-dee-doh-dah time!
Dana, each show lasts about 2 hours. Therefore, you'll probably find it very difficult to get to
Magic Kingdom Park in time for
Happily Ever After. It takes a bit of time to walk to the dock, wait for the boat, board the boat, arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, disembark, get through security, etc. I can't say for certain, but I'm pretty sure they pipe the music through to the beach area at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. They definitely used to and I don't think they've changed it. You can always call the resort at (407) 824-2900 and ask the Front Desk. Here's an idea though: After dinner, walk to the dock and take the boat across
Seven Seas Lagoon just before the fireworks show starts. I've done this before with my planDisney pals and we essentially got a free fireworks cruise. We didn't get the music, but the sights were spectacular!
I hope that's helpful, Dana. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
Mike
