What is the maximum party size for Oga’s Cantina? 4,5,or 6? I have a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids). I noticed the Disney app will not let you double book reservations.

    Bright Suns Isaiah!

Oga’s Cantina is a favorite watering hole of many visitors to Black Spire Outpost at Galaxy's Edge. Popular with smugglers and bounty hunters, you’ll find refreshing and exotic beverages from around the galaxy.

With the pandemic touching planets throughout the galaxy, only smaller parties are currently being seated in the Cantina. Currently, with covid precautions in place, 6 is the largest group you will find at most dining locations. I was able to successfully book a table for 6 this July. You are correct that My Disney Experience will not let you make multiple Advance Dining Reservations for the same time slot. In the past, some Guests were known to book multiple reservations throughout the resorts for the same dates and times with the intention of canceling at the last minute as they decided which park to visit on which day. The system is currently set up to prevent this, allowing a greater number of families access to tables. This does pose a struggle though for larger groups.

The workaround for this Isaiah, is to have two adults with separate My Disney Experience Accounts each book a table. For example, on my My Disney Experience Account I manage myself and my minor children. My husband has a separate account of his own, and we are linked as Family & Friends. Because we have individual accounts, we can each make Advance Dining Reservations. You can try to call the Dining Line and they might be able to put a second table in another adult’s name, but be aware that with the popularity of Oga’s Cantina, availability will be scarce. If you are staying at a Disney Resort Collection Hotel, plan your visit to Oga's at the end of your trip for the best luck in snagging a reservation, since you can book your entire stay beginning 60 days before check-in. I was able to get a table for 6 on the fifth day of our vacation, but when I looked for a table on the second day, there was no availability, not even for a smaller party. If you are staying off-property, it is unlikely you will find a table.

If you are not able to secure a reservation, stop by the Milk Stand across the street for a cold and refreshing beverage. You may also enjoy lunch at Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo where they offer a Takodana Quencher, Moof Juice, or Surly Sarlacc as beverage options. I also highly recommend their Batuuan Beef Pot Roast, it’s delicious!

I hope you can secure your desired reservations, Isiah. Keep checking daily if you don’t have luck initially, and may the Force be with you!
