Welcome to planDisney, Dan! We’re happy you’re here!
Just like Oswald the Rabbit, you’re in luck! You can indeed use Disney Gift Cards to pay for your
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets; I have used them to purchase Annual Passes for my family. I like to buy my Gift Cards at my local wholesale club, which often offers them at a slight discount.
If you plan to purchase your tickets on the Walt Disney World website, there is a limit of one gift card per transaction. However, Disney now offers a way to combine all of your gift card balances onto one card by visiting
www.disneygiftcard.com (if this is your first time, you will need to register). Once you have an account, you can also track the balance of your card and even see a list of transactions made like you would if you were checking a credit card statement.
A maximum of $1000 can be loaded on one card, so if your purchase exceeds that amount, consider making multiple transactions; or you can call
Ticketing Services at (407) 939-7679, and they will be able to use multiple gift cards in one transaction. Their phone lines can get busy, so try calling when they open at 7:00 AM EST to avoid waiting.
I hope this helps, Dan! If you have any more trip-planning questions, please feel free to write back!
