What max size for backpack to parks?

Hi there, James, and welcome to planDisney, where we pack up our troubles and put them in a pack! You have a Walt Disney World Resort visit next month, and you're wondering what backpack to take to the theme parks. Well, you've come to the right panelist because I have a closet full of bags. Let's talk about any size parameters you'll need to consider when choosing a pack for your visit.

According to the Walt Disney World Property Rules, backpacks cannot exceed 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm). So, as long as your backpack, bag, or cooler fits within those measurements, you are welcome to bring it along. Be sure you don't have any glass containers, and remember that loose ice isn't permitted in coolers.

Choosing which backpack to take is one of the best parts of planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I sometimes buy a new one before my trip, which is why I have so many! One of my favorite places to browse backpack styles is the shopDisney website. My latest obsession is sling bags because I like wearing them around the front, where I can access my phone quickly. You have lots of options, James!

One tip for an item to carry in your backpack is a mobile charging kit. These portable charging systems can be purchased at kiosks throughout Walt Disney World Resort, and once the battery pack is depleted, you can trade it at any other kiosk for a freshly charged one at no cost. These have become a handy necessity for my theme park visits, so I hope you try them for your phone or tablet.

Thanks again for stopping by, James, and come back to planDisney with any questions. I'll have a zipper pull on standby!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
