What is the max party size reservation for Chef Mickey? We have a party of 9… would this be an option or would we need to split reservation?

Hey there, hi there, ho there! You're as welcome as can be at planDisney, Heather!

We're glad you stopped by with your question for us.

If you're anything like me, you won't be able to stop smiling while dining at Chef Mickey's. This bright and happy restaurant provides an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast or dinner feast at Disney's Contemporary Resort. You may even get a view of the Disney Monorail passing by while you enjoy your meal! Plus, it's always magical to meet your favorite pals while sharing a meal with loved ones!

Heather, Chef Mickey's should be able to accommodate your party of nine based on availability; however, I don't want you to give up if there's no availability for your large group. It may be doable if you split your party into two groups and search for two reservations.

When my family of 8 dined at the restaurant, I found it easier to find availability for us when I split our groups up. First, I ensured the two reservations were at most 10-15 minutes apart. Next, I made sure to arrive at the restaurant before my reservation time and let the Cast Member checking Guests in know that our parties were together. Finally, I politely asked if we could be seated together. Although I know it's only a request and is at the restaurant's discretion based on availability, the Cast Members did their best to have us seated together. Sometimes, when it's just not possible for the restaurant to sit us all together, they make sure we're at tables near one another.

We can't wait to welcome you to the magic, Heather! Have an enchanting visit!
