is there a max dollar limit on meal tickets when eating at restaurants?

    Hi Dale,

I assume that when you say "meal ticket" you mean Disney Dining Plan credits.

The short answer to your question is no. There is generally no maximum price limit on what you can get with your DDP credits. VERY rarely there will be a menu item that is not available on the Dining Plan, but this will always be stated up front. The one time I can recalling seeing this happen was when a restaurant had surf & turf type dish with a huge filet and twin lobsters. Other than that I can't recall any menu item restrictions on the Dining Plan.

You may want to head over to the independent website DisneyFoodBlog.com and search for an article called "The Most Expensive Meals in the World." You'd see that you could use your dining plan to purchase a $44 strip steak at Le Cellier, $47 Beef Wellington at the Yachtsman Steakhouse, or $50 Braised Veal Shank at Citrico's. I'm hungry just thinking about it.

You'll be able to eat quite well using your Disney Dining Plan credits. Enjoy!
