What are the mattress dimensions for the 5th sleeper Murphy bed under the TV at Saratoga Springs?

It's your call to post, Dale, and welcome to the races! planDisney is here to win by a nose, and I'd love to help you plan your next Walt Disney World Resort visit. Let's look at some specific information about Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. I love the horse racing theme at this property, so riders up!

I chatted with a Cast Member with flying colors, and she said that the One-Bedroom Villa at this Deluxe Resort Hotel offers a pull-down bed in the living room. This bed is about 38 x 75 inches, a standard twin size. Please remember that room configurations can vary slightly within a resort, so if you have any specific requests, please call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. They will make a note and do their best to accommodate your party, although requests are never guaranteed.

While you're searching for the perfect resort, I'd like to add that some moderate resorts offer a 5th sleeper, and this term typically denotes a pull-down bed that's slightly smaller than a standard twin. When you see the word "5th sleeper," you'll know that the bed might be narrower and shorter than a twin, depending on the resort. These beds have been designed for children and smaller guests, but I slept comfortably on a 5th sleeper recently at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Those 5th sleepers are around 30 by 63 inches, so a bit smaller than a standard twin. I'm only 5'2"....so I'm jockey-sized! But again, the exact dimensions of designated 5th sleepers can vary by resort.

Dale, if you choose to stay at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, check the calendar to see if Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are available during your visit. These hours are exclusive to guests registered at Deluxe Resorts and will let you access select theme parks on designated nights for a few extra hours after the park closes. My husband and I recently enjoyed those extra hours at EPCOT and experienced several attractions like Soarin' Around the World with low wait times.

I'm sure your next visit will find you in the winner's circle, Dale, and I hope you enjoy your run for the roses at Saratoga Springs. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
