Ahoy there, Tina, and welcome aboard planDisney!
It sounds like you are getting your
Disney Cruise Line packing list started for your upcoming magical cruise. Packing lists help build the excitement for a vacation, so I’m with you on getting that list ready and knowing exactly how much room you will have in your luggage, especially if you are embarking on a specially-themed sailing like
Marvel Day at Sea when a superhero costume may be involved!
Now, you may be happy to know that each guest may board with a
reasonable amount of clothing and personal effects, not to exceed two checked bags per person, one carry-on each (measuring no greater than 14 inches wide, 9 inches deep and 22 inches in height in order to comply with security scanning at the port) as well as one personal bag.
Tina, I recommend that you place anything you may need as soon as you board the ship in your
carry-on bag as your luggage may not arrive to your stateroom for a few hours after the ship leaves port. I always include the basics like sunscreen and a water bottle, but also remember to pack any medications, valuables, and your cruise documents and identification in your carry-on.
You will be sailing away in no time, so be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. The Navigator app is your portal for all your pre-cruise planning, making payments and even checking in for your cruise. With even more features while onboard, the app will unlock all the magic your Disney Cruise has in store!
Please let us know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your vacation by sailing back by
to me, or to our planDisney cruise specialists
Tracie and
Adrianna.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
