Can you use mask, snorkel and fins at resort pools? How about water parks?

    Hi Scott!

Taking a relaxing break by the pool or an exciting adventure to a water park is just what you need to cool down during a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  Unfortunately, due to safety concerns, snorkels and fins are not allowed at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel pools or at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park or Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  Other items like boards and oversized flotation devices that obstruct lifeguards' views of the water are also prohibited.

Goggles and masks are allowed in the pools, but are not allowed on the slides.  Personal floatation devices are also typically allowed, as long as they don't obstruct the lifeguards' views of the water.  U.S. Coast Guard Type II and Type III personal flotation devices are allowed.  Lifejackets are also available at all Walt Disney World Resort Hotel pools and are provided upon request!  If you are unsure about an item that you would like to bring to the pool or water park, you can contact the resort directly or ask any Cast Member or lifeguard.  They are always happy to help!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
