Hello, Linda! We are honored that you sent in your question to planDisney.
I've been known to binge-watch an entire season of Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings in one sitting. There's nothing more magical than the modern-day fairy tale, and I don't blame you a bit for wanting to recreate those memories on your Silver Anniversary! One of the most well-known wedding venues is Disney's Wedding Pavilion. I spoke to a Disney Wedding Specialist today; unfortunately, they no longer allow guests into the Pavilion in between ceremonies. However, I have a few ideas to make your anniversary extra special (I may send this list to my own Prince Charming)!
*Visit
Disney's Fairytale Weddings and Honeymoons website, and click on "Start Planning" and then the "Contact Us" tabs. Then you can fill out the form so that a Cast Member can contact you back and you can discuss some ideas. They are fabulous at planning simple vow renewals, even if it's just the two of you.
*Consider booking a
Capture Your Moment photo session at Magic Kingdom Park. Mention that it is for your anniversary to ensure that the PhotoPass Photographers bring the perfect props (or feel free to bring your own)!
*Plan a romantic dinner. The restaurant at the top of my list is
Victoria & Albert's at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa; while it hasn't reopened yet, we've heard that it should be soon. This is the most coveted meal in all of Walt Disney World, so be ready to reserve your table online 60 days before your trip!
*Get a complimentary Happily Ever After button from any Guest Relations location and wear it around the parks. The
Ye Old Christmas Shoppe at Magic Kingdom Park will even personalize it for you for a small fee, and they will use special pens and fancy calligraphy.
I hope your trip in 2024 is a dream come true, Linda. Best wishes from the planDisney Panel!
