    Hi Margaret. Thanks for all your help in planning my trip. Saw an answer you gave regarding the design your own t-shirt. We will be staying off site (about 10 minutes from MK), where is Downtown Disney? How do we get there? Is it near parks? Thankyou

    So glad to hear that I was able to help with your Disney World planning. I love being able to share a little of the Disney magic even when I can't be there myself.

    Downtown Disney is a shopping and entertainment complex that features amazing merchandise locations, speciality shops and restaurants, entertainment and more. The general address for the actual area is 1780 N. Buena Vista Drive. It is located near the Disney parks and resorts and just across the river from Saratoga Springs Resort. There are a number of other resort chains located just across the highway from the Downtown Disney entrance.

    The Downtown Disney area is most likely included in shuttle stops for offsite resorts as it is a very popular Disney destination for travelers. Just ask at your front desk. It is easily accessible by car and has a great deal of parking available within the multiple attached lots, so if you have a car you could easily drive and park. If you do not have a car, and your offsite hotel does not offer a shuttle, then best option would be to take a Disney bus from any of the parks or Disney resorts. The buses are clearly marked and you would want the one indicating Downtown Disney. The bus will drop you off at the entrance to the Marketplace which is the main shopping area. Once you have finished your day, you could either take a Disney bus, from Downtown Disney, back to the park where you would meet up with your resort shuttle.

    Be sure to travel light as you will need your hands to carry back all of your great purchases. Have a great time!
