Margaret, I saw you were recently @ FW. Am I correct that HDD and the campfire are both at FW? 5:00 pm ADR May 9 for HDD; should it work to go from there to the campfire? Staying at Pop and would love to make only one trip to FW, if possilbe. Thoughts?

    Hi Michelle,

We did just return from Fort Wilderness, matter of fact we have been there twice within last few months because we had such a great time the first stay.

You are correct, the Hoop de Doo Revue and Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-along and movie are both located at Fort Wilderness. The Hoop de Doo is held at the Settlement, which is near the back of the resort /campgrounds, while the campfire and movie are held at Meadow Complex. The campfire is typically lit around 7:30pm, the sing-along from 7:30-8:30 and the movie beginning a few minutes later. You could definitely leave the show and head over to the campfire area for some marshmallows, songs and a Disney movie all in the same night.

In order to get from the Settlement Post to the Meadow Complex you will need to use one of the internal buses that runs throughout the campground. The bus can be caught at the front of the Settlement Post and you are looking for the bus marked Outpost Orange. Exit at the Meadow Trading Post stop and the campfire is just behind the general store.

When you get ready to leave you will need to take the internal bus marked Outpost to the front of Fort Wilderness. There is not a bus that runs directly to Pop Century so my suggestion would be to travel to Downtown Disney and transfer there to a Pop Century bus unless one of the parks is till open. If so you can take a Disney bus to that park and then transfer to a Pop Century bus.

Hope you have a boot stompin good time!
