Hi Margaret! I saw that you answered a question about 18 year olds dressing up at Disney. From what I have read, no one over age 8 can dress up. Is this no longer the case?

    Hi Sandie,

Great question, my understanding is Disney's policy is that no one over the age of 12 can dress up and enter the Disney parks. The exception to this is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Guests of all ages, attending this special ticket event are invited to join in the fun by dressing up in costume. There are of course, some guidelines....the costumes must be tasteful and nothing to frightening or gruesome is allowed. Guests can not wear any type of mask that completely covers their head (like the Disney characters themselves).  Costumes that are distasteful or offensive to other guests will not be allowed.

Otherwise you are free to enjoy the party in costume, and even trick or treat, if you are two, twenty or eighty. We have dressed up a number of times and like coming up with great family themes and dress alike, like the Incredibles.

Hope you have a boo-tiful time!
