Hi Margaret! We received a special discount promotion from Disney through e-mail and I chose to upgrade from CSR to my choice Poly, my brother would prefer Contemporary though. Which resort would you suggest for 4 adults? Thanks, we really can't decide!

    Hi Whitney,

How awesome! Those promotion pins are a fantastic deal and not always easy to come by so Congrats. I have to admit, the Polynesian is one of the few resorts that my family has not stayed at yet (will be there for the first time in January though and can't wait!), so my opinion on the Polynesian is from brief stops to see friends.

We have been able to enjoy a number of vacations at the Contemporary and really love the resort. My boys love watching the monorail run through the resort and I love the open frame design that lets you watch all the activity going on in the tower. We love the ability to walk just a short distance to Magic Kingdom. The resort has a very lively feel to me as it always feels like a hub of activity with the monorail and the number of guests coming in to enjoy California Grill and especially Chef Mickey's.

The Polynesian on the other hand has a more laid back, calm feel to me. The lush landscaping and warm dark colors make the resort truly feel like an island escape. The Polynesian's standard rooms are slightly larger than the Contemporary and offer two beds as well as a day bed. With four adults in one room, you may certainly appreciate the few extra feet of space. Both resorts offer a number of fantastic dining options, both counter and table service, as well as deluxe amenities.

Overall, as much as we love the Contemporary, I would choose the Polynesian for four adults. Not only will you have a little more elbow room in your room, but I think you will love the calm tranquil feel of the resort. Hope you have an amazing time!
