Hi Margaret! I know you and your sons made Design-A-Tees in Downtown Disney. On my recent trip, my boyfriend and I made them, too. Are there any special washing instructions for these t-shirts? Thanks!

    Greetings,

Yes my boys and I have made a number of t-shirts at the Hanes Design-a-Tee store since it opened. The boys love being able to mix and match characters and sayings on their choice of t-shirt colors.

The only specific instructions we were given was to wash the shirts inside out the first time and to iron with a cool setting. I have been drying the shirts on a low setting or on the line to prevent any shrinking or damage to the decal, and ironing inside out over the decal. I can tell you that we have a number of them that we have been washing and wearing for months now and they are "wearing" well and still look practically brand new.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your new shirts.
