Hi Marcy.  One more question before we sail May 9.  We go to dinner at Palo at 6:30. Would they feed my grandson in the Kids Club or do we feed him before?  Also, what is your best dish at Palo not to be missed?  Thank you for your help

Welcome back, Deborah! I just returned home from a magical sailing on the Disney Magic last week! My family loves to sail with Disney, but ever since the Magic's been re-imagined, it's even more exciting to sail on that beautiful ship! You're going to have so much fun!

You'll really enjoy your dinner at Palo. That is one thing my husband and I always make sure we do, enjoy at least one meal in Palo. Before you head there for your 6:30 reservation time, take your grandson to the Oceaneer Club or Lab at least fifteen minutes before dinner is served to the kids there. Dinner times in the clubs vary, so be sure to check your Personal Navigator for that night's dinner time. I've seen kids' dinners on the schedule starting anywhere from 5:30 to starting around 6:15, so just be sure to check. The counselors like to have the kids there fifteen minutes before the meal to ensure they have a good count on who will be eating in the club that night. Your grandson will have a fun time dining with new friends and then enjoying the exciting programming in the clubs that night while you sneak away for one amazing meal of your own!

My three favorites at Palo for dinner are the beef tenderloin, the oregano and parmesan crusted lamb, and and Palo's signature dessert, the chocolate souffle. While I have tried a few other dishes there for my main meal and have enjoyed them all, I still lean toward the beef tenderloin as my favorite, but the oregano parmesan lamb is a close second! The chocolate souffle is on my "must order" list every single time. It's like a molten chocolate cake, with melted chocolate in the middle, and it is not to be missed! One other dish I must tell you about is the mushroom risotto. My favorite risotto ever! Give that a try too! The Chef in Palo on the Magic is absolutely wonderful and all the servers are fabulous. You're in for a very wonderful meal, Deborah! Enjoy your cruise!
