Hi Marcy, a couple of follow up questions re: tram stops at Castaway Cay. DD11 and her grandfather are swimming with stingrays @ 10am. What stop do they get off tram? DD14 parasailing- which stop is that? Many thanks!

    Hi again, JanaLee!

Your daughter will love Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure on Castaway Cay. Stingrays are really unique creatures and my family has loved the opportunities we've had on our Disney cruises to be able to interact with them. Your daughter and her grandfather can plan to hop off the tram at the Scuttle's Cove stop, the first stop at Family Beach. This will put them very close to the meeting point for their adventure. Since their booking isn't until ten, they might find that they want to enjoy some of the island before their adventure begins, and as you'll see on the Castaway Cay map that you'll receive, it's very easy to get around the island on foot, so they won't be too far from their meeting point, no matter where they are on the beach.

I'm excited for your older daughter that she gets to try out Castaway Cay's parasailing. I've parasailed before, but not on Castaway Cay. It's such a fun experience no matter where you are, but for her to be able to see the whole island from that perspective is sure to be amazing! Depending on her adventure time for parasailing, she may not need to take the tram at all. The parasailing groups begin at Marge's Barges which is actually right off the ship dock, before the tram station. If she has a later appointment and wants to enjoy the beach before parasailing, she can simply take the tram back to the ship and she'll walk right past Marge's Barges between the tram stop and the ship. The official name of that Tram Stop is the Kargo Handling Tram Stop. You might want to do a web search for "Castaway Cay Map 2013" and you can view how the island is set up. You'll of course receive a map of your own on your cruise, but if you're like me and like to plan it all in advance, it's nice to be able to have a visual!

I hope that helps, JanaLee! Keep me up to date with your plans and questions!
