    Hi Paulette,

Congrats on your visit with your special six year old! Six is such a great age to explore the Walt Disney World Resorts.

Without knowing which restaurants you booked, I will tell you how my family tours. In general, we book our dining in coordination with the park we are visiting that day. For example, if we are going to Magic Kingdom we would eat at Crystal Palace or at a resort restaurant like Whispering Canyon Cafe or The Wave. This keeps travel at a minimum and provides maximum play time.

We also avoid Extra Magic Hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios as this park is small and gets crowded in the areas which are open during this time. Other parks are fine especially at night when guests with infants and toddlers head home.

Here are a few last tips. If you are going to all four parks, go to Epcot before Magic Kingdom. Epcot has its own magic and it may not be appreciated after a visit to the capitol of magic. Balance long days with short. Whether this means Epcot (large) one day and the next day at Hollywood Studios (small and shows to sit and rest) or early morning for a breakfast or late night for fireworks, this keeps everyone rested.

Finally, go slow. Skip the park hopper and slow down. Enjoy the magic now so you return sooner than 20 years.

    Have a magical vacation!
