We are going in March 2010 with our Son and Daugher-in-law and 2 grandson's 5 and 3 years. We are trying to decide if we should get the parkhopper for all 3 days or take the $ and stay an extra day at the resort for a "chill "day during our stay

Hey Cindy!  Going for three days I honestly think you would be fine without the hopper option.  I always recommend the hopper pass if you are going more than three days, but anywhere from 1 to 3 you should be fine without it.
And what a great idea to spend the money saved on an extra day at the resort.  WDW resorts offer so many great activities and you could even head over to Downtown Disney on that extra day.
I hope this helps and that you guys have a wonderful WDW vacation in March.  It will be here before you know it!
