Hello, we will be there for 1/2 marathon weekend, want to go to The Wave after race on Sunday, they offer a breakfast buffet, do you know how long buffet is served till? on website serve Breakfast till 11:00am, we want to make res. @10:45am, Thank You

    Hi, Elizabeth!

The Wave . . . of American Flavors at Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of my family's favorite breakfasts anywhere, but especially at Walt Disney World. My kids are not even big breakfast eaters at home, but tell them we have a reservation for the breakfast buffet at The Wave, and these kids are showered, dressed, and at the door at sunrise.

The breakfast buffet is served until 11 AM, but what that means is that there is ample time for those who are coming in at 10:45 and 11 AM to have as much as they want on the buffet. They don't rush you through at all. And, since the portion sizes they put out tend to be on the smaller side to begin with, you won't have to worry about food that has been sitting out since 7 AM. I've always found, even with a later breakfast reservation, the food is freshly prepared and hot.

Not to miss on the buffet are the mouth wateringly delicious sweet potato pancakes, the Tillamook cheddar and bacon grits, and the eggs benedict with the lime hollandaise. I'm pretty sure my youngest daughter ate three of those on our last trip there.

Have fun with the race - I'll be chEARing for you in spirit!
