Hi On Mar 25, 2011 Christian Asked “Can you leave the park and come back the same day .” And was answered Hi Christian, Absolutely! Was that policy instated that year? When I was younger we were not let back in, an I want to make sure i can if i go again

Hi Patricia!  Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm perplexed about what may have occurred during your prior visit.  I have been visiting Walt Disney World Resort for almost 40 years, and during every visit guests have been permitted to exit a Theme Park and return later the same day.  To the best of my knowledge, that has always been the policy.

My best guess is that perhaps you were visiting on an extremely busy day.  On occasion, a Theme Park may reach capacity and at that point no more guests will be permitted to enter, even those who had been admitted earlier in the day.

Admission under the present policy would most definitely allow you to return to the same Theme Park during operating hours, barring any capacity closures.  If you would like to visit more than one Theme Park on the same day, you would need a ticket with the Park Hopper option.

I do hope you have the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World Resort in the near future.  Please let us know if we can help you with any questions you may have about planning your vacation.
