Are the maps on the Disney website drawn to scale? I am trying to figure out which POP building for a standard room would be closest to AOA. We would like to use the AOA dining hall as much as possible. Thanks!

    Hi, Jessica!

Yes, the interactive maps on the Walt Disney World website are drawn fairly to scale and accurately represent the locations of buildings, pools and other physical landmarks on the Resort hotel properties.

I am happy to help you with your preference of room location at Disney's Pop Century Resort! If you would like to be close to the Generation Gap Bridge for an easy walk over to Disney's Art of Animation Resort, I would recommend either one of the 1960's buildings at Pop Century. You can ask that a room request be noted on your reservation -- you may want to request a room "closest to the Generation Gap Bridge". Please be aware that Disney does its best to honor Guests' room requests whenever possible, but requests cannot be guaranteed.

Be sure to try the Tie-Dye Cheesecake at Everything Pop (the resort's food court) -- it is exclusive to Pop Century and, to my knowledge, cannot be not found at any other Disney World location!

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel with any other questions as you continue to plan your September Walt Disney World Resort stay.
