Is it mandatory to be vaccinated or take a covid test before entering the park?

    Hi Angelica,

I hope your question means that you have a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth coming up sometime soon! The magic is alive and well and waiting for YOU!

While the State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort, you will not need to show proof of your vaccination status or a negative test. All Guests do need to abide by the current face-covering policy, though, and will need to comply with the Health Acknowledgement which is found on the helpful Returning to a Land of Magic page. I hope that helps as you're preparing for your visit! Mickey Mouse simply wants everyone to be as safe and healthy as possible while visiting him!

With so many more experiences returning and policies changing as needed, I definitely recommend keeping an eye on that Returning to a Land of Magic page I mentioned above as well as the Disney Parks Blog. They'll be your best sources for the latest updates and announcements. Of course, you're always welcome back here at planDisney, too, if you have more questions!

Thanks so much for stopping by, Angelica. I'm sending pixie dust that you have a truly magical Disneyland Resort adventure sometime soon!
