I have been managing the plans for a friend who I am traveling with next year. Now I want her to be able to set up her own account and manage her own plans. Is there a way she can set up her own account since I already have her on my reservation?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Pamela! It's so nice of you to help your friend with her Walt Disney World vacation planning! It sounds like she's ready to fly the nest and set up her own My Disney Experience account. Regardless of how "tech-y" she might be, this is an essential and painless part of the planning process.

First, have your friend visit the Walt Disney World website and follow the prompts to "Create a New Account." Once her account is created, then you will be able to go to your own Family & Friends list and click the "Update" link to the right of your friend's name; next, you want to select "Share Planning." At this point, you'll be asked to enter her email address. This will invite your friend to link to her account and upon acceptance, move everything over to her own My Disney Experience account. If at any point either of you needs assistance, feel free to reach out to the Internet Help Desk at (407) 939-4357.

Pamela, it looks like you'll be traveling during the 2020 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. This would be a super fun Girls' Getaway activity! If you need any more trip planning advice, remember we're all ears!
