I'm so glad you stopped by with a question for us. It sounds like you need some help making sure your travel party is connected to streamline your
Lighting Lane Pass planning process, and I'm happy to assist!
It's great that your mom was able to connect via Family & Friends using her unique QR linking code. Since she manages plans for your Dad, she'll just need to take a few extra steps before you can include him in your plans. I find this easiest to do online versus the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Have her
sign in to her account here then select the blue "Family & Friends" circle before her list of upcoming plans and "View List." She can also hover over "My Disney Experience" on the website's top menu bar and scroll down to select "My Family & Friends."
Once her list of connected guests is visible she should locate your name and click the "Settings" button to the right. There, she'll have the option to
"Connect My Managed Profiles." Have her click that and then place a checkmark in the box next to your Dad's name. This should generate an email invitation for you to approve. Once complete you should be able to view your Dad on your
Family & Friends list and include him in your group when making Lightning Lane selections.
Should you have any trouble I recommend
reaching out to a Cast Member by online chat or phone. They will be able to offer faster assistance and can help troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
One last tip- if you have not already connected with your mom using her linking code, you may need her to generate a new one. The codes expire 30 minutes after creation, but she can get a new one to share as often as she needs.
