Hello. When making a reservation for a dinner show, if you select Category 1, is there a trick to securing a front-row table? Do you have to call and ask? Thanks!

Hi Julie! I love the dinner shows at Walt Disney World -- my family's heading back to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue in just a few days! My understanding is that for shows like the Hoop-Dee-Doo, tables are assigned based on when you make your reservations, and thus, the earlier you book, the better your seats. If you book Category 1 seating well in advance, you'll have a good chance of being on the front row. (I love being on the front row for shows too, but I've sat farther back in Category 1 and still had a terrific view.)

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
