Woo hoo, Felicia! One month to go before your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
The
Camping at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a fantastic choice. Many Guests say their favorite thing to do here is hanging out with Chip 'n' Dale while
toasting s'mores around the fire (you can bring your own fixings, or buy a s'mores kit from the
Chuck Wagon Food Truck). There is a Cast Member who plays a guitar and entertains Guests while the Chipmunks make their rounds. An outdoor movie usually follows the sing-a-long, for a full night of family fun!
There are
different sizes of campsites that will accommodate everything from small tents to 45-foot and longer RVs. You'll want to request a Premium
Meadow Campsite, which will put you close to the
Meadow Pool, Meadow Snack Bar, Daniel Boone's Wilderness Arcade, and the Tennis Courts. The campsites are all on "Loops." When you call the reservation line at (407) 939-1936 to make your request, ask to be on one of the following Loops: 600, 1300, or 1400. I'd also highly recommend
renting a golf cart in advance of your trip, as Fort Wilderness isn't designed to be navigated with a car.
Here's a Moms Panel tip: After you link your Walt Disney World Resort Reservation to your
My Disney Experience account, you can customize your
MagicBands, which are not only used as your entrance into the Parks but will also be used as the key to the laundry room and bathrooms late at night.
I hope you have a magical vacation, Felicia! Please write back if there's anything else we can help you with. See ya' real soon!
