    We are making our first DW vacation at the end of January and I am at a loss on which tickets I need to purchase. I don't know if I should purchase a 5 day hopper pass, or if I should just purchase 7 day regular pass? My children are 6 and 9. thx

    The ticket options are pretty tough to decide between aren't they!

    Personally, we've traveled to Walt Disney World both with and without the Park Hopper option. While the convenience of the Park Hopper option is nice, I don't feel its a necessity for your vacation to be totally Magical!

    With the base ticket, you'll be able to visit one park per day. You'll also be able to leave that park and reenter that same park later in the day (if, for example, you wanted to have some pool time in the afternoon and return after dinner). Since this is your first trip, I'm sure you'll want to spend a full day (or two) at most of the parks - there is so much to see and do that you really can fill a full day at each park.

    Some reasons to consider adding the Park Hopper would be if you'd like to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours after most parks are closed. For example, maybe you'd spend the day at Animal Kingdom but then decide to go to Magic Kingdom for evening Extra Magic Hours when its open to midnight (or later!).

    But, don't feel pressured to make that decision right now. If you purchase base tickets now, you can always upgrade them later. Just visit any guest relations office, or the lobby concierge at a Disney resort, and they can help you upgrade. The cost for the Park Hopper is the same if you add it now or later, so no worries!
