When making a disney vacation package reservation, why are the taxes and fees, i.e. the general breakdown not included at check out? Thanks

    Hiya, Melanie!

I have booked my fair share of Walt Disney World Resort vacation packages, and I have actually never noticed this!

I just went and booked a "test" vacation package at the newly-renovated Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and saw that you are indeed right. The breakdown of taxes and fees is not included on the order summary page.

When I went to pay in full, the total amount was the same as the "Offer Subtotal" so I was not subject to any additional charges when paying in full, but this may be different for you.

For vacation packages that I had previously booked under my account, I was not able to see taxes and fees broken out, although I could see my payment history.

If you need to get an itemized invoice, including taxes and fees, you will need to call the friendly Cast Members at (407) 939-1936 and they will be able to provide that information for you.

I hope that this helped, Melanie! Please come back here if we can answer any other questions for you.

    See you real soon!
