Making dinning res 180 days out for parks needs a park ticket. we will be buying annual passes, does the year start when first purchases so we can make dinning res 180 days out or the first entrance to a park? staying BLT 12/21/14 on the dinning plan

    Hey Roy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! It looks like you are planning a fabulous Walt Disney World vacation with all the holiday trimmings.

Christmas is absolutely my favorite time of year at Disney. There are so many holiday events and attractions to take in. One of my favorite things to do is simply visit as many resorts as possible to take in all their unique decorations. The gigantic gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and the gingerbread carousel at Disney's Beach Club Resort are not to be missed.

You will be happy to know that you do not need to have already purchased a park tickets to make your Advanced Dining Reservations. This includes the restaurants which are located within the theme parks.

I hope this helps your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical Disney vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
