I will be making dining reservations soon and would like to know, as we have the deluxe dining plan, do I need to supply a credit card number when making the reservations?

    Hi Nancy,

You must be getting excited for your trip if you can start making your Advance Dining Reservations.

Whether you are on the Disney Dining Plan or not, you will need to have a credit card to make your reservations. This is to make sure you are not a "no show" at a restaurant which can create unused tables that other guests could use. If you do not cancel your reservation within the appropriate cancellation window, your credit card will be charged.

However, once you arrive at your restaurant for your meal, you simply tell the server you are on the Disney Dining Plan and the server will deduct the meal from your plan. You can provide a credit card for items not covered and it does not have to be the one used to hold the reservation.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
