Hi moms! Making dining reservations next week! Family of 3 (6yo DD), I can't decide if we should try Sanaa @ AKL or use 2 credits on Jiko? Is it worth using 2 dining credits? Thanks for the advice!

It's always hard to answer 'worth it' questions because it's very subjective. I am a foodie, so I do think some meals are worth it, and I will and have often used two credits to dine in certain restaurants.

Jiko is an amazing place to eat. The food is excellent, their wine list is outstanding, and even the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. (I can just hear my grandfather saying 'You can't eat atmosphere!') Jiko is a great place to be, and I have never regretted money (or dining credits) spent there.

However, Sanaa is also a great choice. (I highly recommend the mustard seed crusted scallops and the spicy durban chicken, and for dessert, the chai cream - yum!) It too has an inviting atmosphere, and the food and service are both very good.

I really don't think you would be disappointed in either option. Check out the menus at Allears.net and see what each restaurant is serving - perhaps that will help you make your decision. And either way, enjoy your excellent meal!
