When making dining reservations do you have to count an infant in the number of people? (my grandson will be 18mths when we travel)

    Hey there, Amy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're glad you stopped by with your dining question.

When making dining reservations, you'll need to include your 18-month-old grandson in the total number for your dining party. Although Guests under the age of three will not be charged at Character Dining experiences or all-you-care-to-enjoy dining locations when sharing from an adult's plate, the restaurant will need to have a table available that can accommodate your entire dining party and also maintain standards for capacity and fire safety.

Guests can start making dining reservations 180 days in advance by calling Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463, by going online or via My Disney Experience mobile app. If you will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can book dining reservations for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days) 180 days prior to your arrival date.

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Amy. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or would like dining recommendations. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip for your family!

    Bon Appétit,
    Jodie
